Appazur is Hiring! Operations Analyst in Raleigh-Durham or North Vancouver.

The Operations Analyst will be a key player at this exciting EdTech company that is helping schools all over North America leverage mobile technology to improve student success and parent engagement. The applicant loves their iPhone or Android and has loaded it with their favorite apps, and has a passion for education and educational technology.

The Analyst will be responsible for carrying out, improving, and documenting all steps of Appazur’s mobile app Software-As-A-Service delivery process. The Analyst will work closely with customers (K-12 school & college administrators) to gather customer requirements, data and feedback, and will follow up as needed to ensure timely completion and to promote ongoing customer success. The Analyst will also triage customer feedback and support requests, and may be called upon to give software demonstrations.

The Analyst will map customer requirements to Appazur software feature options, manipulate customer-specific graphics, and work with vendor tools such as Apple iTunes Connect, Google Play Console, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Azure Portal. The analyst will also manipulate customer data by coding spreadsheet formulas, perform user acceptance testing on iOS and Android devices and web applications, and write documentation and training materials.

Required skills include: spreadsheet formulas (e.g. Excel), PowerPoint, Google Drive/Docs, bitmap manipulation (e.g. GIMP, Photoshop), and macOS or Microsoft Windows. Past experience with CRM and support ticket systems will be helpful. Ideally the applicant would also have experience with one or more of: SQL, HTML, and/or computer programming.

The applicant must be detail-oriented and have excellent problem solving skills. The application must have an ability to work independently with minimum supervision as well as to work effectively in a team (we work in person and remotely via Slack messaging), and demonstrate excellent communication (spoken and written English) and be comfortable working with customers (email/telephone/video conference).
