Classroom Applications

Your Sunnycrest High App is designed to complement your student information system, learning management system and other tools you use in your classroom.

On this page, you can learn how to set up your Sunnycrest High App to work with, or replace, your other tools.

Remind™

Not applicable. You'll find that your Sunnycrest High App includes your favorite Remind features, and includes capabilities not included in the free version of Remind, so it should be an easy transition.

Two-way messaging is enabled in your Sunnycrest High App, so you can safely and efficiently engage with individual parents and students. Messages sent during quiet hours will be delivered early the next morning.

Blog or Website (e.g. Weebly™, Wix™, Squarespace™)

You can continue posting to your website as you do today, and your posts can now automatically go out as messages via the app! Your blog or website posts can automatically go out as messages via the app! If you have an online calendar, that can sync up with the app as well. You can do all your messaging from the Sunnycrest High App Dashboard. Since everyone is on their mobile devices these days, and they expect information to be pushed to them, you may find that the app can replace your blog or website!

Social Media (e.g. Facebook™, Twitter™)

Your Sunnycrest High App works great with Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Just post as you do today, and messages will go out automatically. Alternatively, create Messages in the Dashboard and share on social media from there. Parents may not see all your posts on social media. You can use the app as a more reliable way to reach parents on their smartphones.

Microsoft Teams™

While MS Teams is a powerful tool for hybrid and remote learning, many teachers find that they also want a simple and quick messaging solution that is designed specifically to meet their needs, and puts them in control with messaging options that get the attention of parents and students.

You may find the Sunnycrest High App is the most effective way to get the attention of parents, and it also allows you to schedule messages for a later date or time.

Google Classroom™

With Google Classroom, your parents may receive a weekly summary, but you are not in control of the information they receive. Use the Sunnycrest High App to communicate directly with parents at any time.

Calendar

Your class has its own Google Calendar, and you can easily set up your class in your Appazur app so that your class events and due dates will show up on students' and parents' calendar.

Portfolio Apps (e.g. FreshGrade™, Seesaw™)

If you are using another app for sharing a student's portfolio with parents, you can continue to do so.

For important messages, you may find the Sunnycrest High App is the most effective way to get the attention of parents and students.
